Lolahemp's oil is best used sublingually (under the tongue) or directly onto the inner cheek of your dog. Our bottles come with pre-labelled droppers, so it's very easy to give your dog the appropriate twice-daily dosage.
Give your dog one dosage in the morning, and one dosage at night. You can also choose to give your dog Lolahemp however it fits into your schedule — the important thing is to give their dosage twice daily.
You can also give your dog CBD oil in advance of situations that might be stressful. Aim to give them a dosage 1 hour before a storm, period of separation, car travel, or whatever situation causes them stress.
No. Our full-spectrum hemp oil contains only trace amounts of THC and is non-intoxicating. The primary compound in our oil, CBD, is not psychoactive and will not make your dog "high."
Of the thousands of dogs who have used our oil, very few have experienced negative side effects. Occasionally, dogs will have digestive upset from the coconut carrier oil used in our product, and this can lead to runny stool. Digestive upset is very uncommon, however, and most dogs tolerate Lolahemp CBD oil extremely well.
If you give your dog a much larger dose than is recommended, you may also notice that your dog is a little sleepy or drowsy. If this happens, the effects will wear off in the next few hours.
You may notice some calming support in your dog anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour after you give your dog CBD oil. These effects can last anywhere from 4–8 hours, and you may notice a reduction in stress-related behaviors.
For hip & joint support, it can take a week or two for CBD levels to build in your dog's system and have a noticeable impact.
CBD can influence the liver enzymes responsible for metabolizing other drugs in some cases. Specifically, CBD can inhibit cytochrome p450 enzymes which are involved in breaking down common medications.
For this reason, always have a discussion with your veterinarian before using CBD oil for your dog — especially if they're taking other medications.
In very high doses, CBD may have a mild sedative effect for dogs. If you follow dosage guidelines, you shouldn't notice any drowsiness in your dog. Alternatively, you might notice a calm, relaxed presence about your dog.

I couldn’t be happier with the results we’ve seen from the Lolahemp Mobility Drops and Calming Hemp Soft Chews (Extra Strength)! About four months ago, my dog Chloe suddenly started holding up her back leg. We suspected she had sprained it after seeing her chasing a lizard in the backyard. Our little old man just turned 15 this month. He has had arthritis and mobility issues for years. We have had him on a monthly shot for almost 2 years it did help him some. Decided this month to start him on the extra strength. He seems to have better mobility especially since he is having to trek through the deep snow. Pearl is a 10 year old Anatolian Shepard and was slowing down and her tail stopped wagging until I put her on lolahemp Hip & Joint soft chews. Now she will be 11 next month and she is not a puppy any longer and I was really concerned about her inactivity so I decided to give the hemp a try and to my surprise and relief she has perked up and the tail wags again, now even though it doesn't wag as enthusiastically as when she was a puppy I am grateful for what it does wag. My 10 year old lab has recently been diagnosed with arthritis effecting her hips and mobility. I love the drops, for health and hips ,now it few years that I used it ,the work really good with my older dog that has hips problems, but on the last order I got some free calming chew, I try it last night on my psychopath Pointer Puppy 7 month old, I used it at night, after the dog play all day ,walked and run over 4 miles, the result was nothing, not only the chew didn't worked on him, but he stayed up all night, in and out in the yard, I think the chew did the opposite effect on him,they keep him.up, no more . But I will keep using the drops that they work really well ,I also used something call Mokai that help as well.
